Vintage Silk Scarf - Orange Shibori

This scarf is made from a silk shibori kimono in a lovely orange color.  Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique using string to tie off small sections of fabric that will resist dye.  The result is a textured and delicately patterned fabric.  The kimono is from Kyoto, the ancient capitol of Japan well known for culture and arts.
